Some best practices to grow your garden plants.

Soil

Good soil provides essential nutrients and a hospitable environment for plant roots to grow deep and strong. The texture and composition of soil influence its drainage and water-holding capacity, which are vital for plant health.

Light

Pay attention to the lighting requirements of your chosen plants. Most garden plants prefer bright light. Find suitable spots near windows or in the garden or under artificial grow lights to ensure they receive the necessary light for healthy growth.

Watering

Provide your plants with consistent and appropriate watering. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot, and under watering, which can stress the plants. Water at the base of the plants early in the morning or late in the evening to reduce water loss due to evaporation.

Pest Control

Monitor your plants regularly for common pests like mealybugs, scale insects, or spider mites. If you notice any infestations, treat them promptly with appropriate organic or chemical controls.

Support for Climbing Plants

Install trellises or sticks for climbing plants to provide support and prevent damage to the stems.

Maintenance

Regularly prune dead or yellowing leaves and spent flowers. As your plants grow, they may need repotting to provide them with more space and nutrients. Choose the right-sized pots and handle the process with care to avoid root damage.
