5 years ago, when we decided to grow plants using NFT Hydroponic Technology as part of our R&D, we used closed NFT rectangular channels. After growing for 2 years in these closed channels we had so many challenges to be addressed.

Tremendous effort in cleaning and sanitising the channels after every harvest cycle.

Food Safe Materials

These NFT channels are made from lead-free*, food-safe plastic thus ensuring the food grown is free from dangerous chemicals.

Lead-Free*

Lead is a low-cost heat stabiliser that is widely used during the manufacturing of PVC products. Instead of lead, we use costly but safer alternatives for heat-stabilising. However, since the channels are manufactured at same facility where lead based channels are also manufactured, there is a possibility of finding trace amount of lead in our channels. The last evaluated batch had a lead content of approx. 29 ppm (0.0029%).

Easy Root Zone Access, Cleaning

The dual open mechanism allows you to access the root zone very conveniently. This helps you to monitor root health frequently.

After every harvest cycle, they can be easily cleaned and used.

Efficient Management of Grow Area
