City Greens NFT Hydroponics Kit is a perfect choice for people who wish to experiment or try out hydroponics at home on a medium scale. The kits come in 2 variants of 3 and 5 NFT channels with 8 growing spaces in each channel. It is mounted on a stand made of UPVC. The entire kit has to be self-assembled, this makes you understand the construction part or the engineering part.
The spout of the end-caps is designed such that, it allows some level of water to be present on the channel even when the motor is not ON. This provides us the chance to run the motor in intervals rather continuously. The electronic timer in the kit runs the motor for not more than 1 hour a day instead of 24 hours, cutting down the electricity costs drastically.
The NFT channels comes with a lid that can either slide or lifted-up, for easy operations like harvesting or cleaning the system.
The rectangular NFT pipe with a height of 65 mm and width 100 mm make it the best one for growing any kind of Indian or non-Indian leafy vegetables. All Leafy vegetables like Spinach, Coriander Kale, Amaranth, Lettuce, Basil, Mint, Oregano, Parsley, etc can be grown in this system.
